In February 2018, YouTubers Miscraft and WUB Network founded the VRC on NASCAR Heat 2. The first event ever was the Daytona 62.5 in the Tide Racing Series on February 16th, 2018. The first official cup series race was on March 17th, 2018. The VRC Next series replaced the Kenyon's Graphics Truck Series and began in July of 2018. In September 2018, the cup series went into a lockout, and ended up rebranding the old Kenyon's Graphics Truck Series into a third division and heavily splitting up the competition to make the OMA more stable and fair to drivers of all skill levels.
